We got a lot done this weekend. We bought a convertible car seat, went to a street fair, watched a movie (not the baby), each parent went out alone for a few hours, I went to the grocery store, my husband lowered the crib... It was a very productive time.
The baby is now saying "cat", "dad", "pup" (what we call the dog), "hey" (as in, hello) and waving with something that's either "bye" or "night".
Additionally, she's getting better at getting parts of herself off the floor. Will this result in sitting or standing or crawling in the conventional coordinated way? Well, probably all of the above at some point, but I don't know which will come first.
And there's another tooth due to make an appearance soon. I can see it, but it's not through yet. That'll be four.
So, there might be lot of reasons for the lack of sleep.
She's moving really easily across the hardwood floors. Destinations being someplace I haven't mopped recently and/or the pets' water bowl. Occasional diversions to attempt to harass the pets are also allowed.
