We have a cruising baby with loads of teeth. She's going to be a toddler soon. I don't know what to do about that. Or about her first birthday for that matter. I mean, obviously, we'll celebrate them, but I haven't determined how/when/with whom.
- Breastfeeding is cause to have your jury duty postponed, but not cancelled. That information came yesterday in the mail.
- Breastfeeding is cause to have menstruation postponed, but not cancelled. I woke up this morning to that one.
Music class is better than I thought it would be. The baby is really opening up to it. She definitely likes music. And maybe between her father's genetics and an early start, she'll be able to clap on beat at some point in her life.
The last two weeks, I've had my husband practice the rhythm games with me after the baby was asleep, because I just cannot pass Baby Music Class without one-on-one remedial tutoring.
(I have the enthusiasm/lack of shame and music memorization skills of a former camp counselor. What I do not have is musical ability, basic coordination or rhythm. It causes the teacher to remind me to listen to the CD at home. I could sing the CD end to end at this point. That doesn't magically imbue me with the ability to know when to clap without looking at someone else. Said teacher has no idea she's supposed to be impressed that I haven't tripped over my own foot and fallen down in a heap of broken bones yet.)
And I'm blogging now. And the kitchen was JUST clean yesterday morning, so I haven't been putting that off for too terribly long.
