And after her nap, she went to the pediatrician and was deemed to be just right and then there were needles, but on the whole, the baby took it all well.
This time I didn't touch anything either, so that's real progress.
She's 20 pounds, 12 ounces and 28 1/2 inches tall.
The pediatrician said she should eat more pickled things. To really open up her palate. I really like our pediatrician.
The baby would like to know where strawberries have been all her life and what kind of monster keeps such a thing from her daughter. The answer is the kind of mom who recently went four years without a strawberry due to how they give me a rash. I've had some this year and my face barely itches at all, so that's amazing.
I didn't grab utensils, so I am pretty sure that anyone walking by was probably horrified by my ripping the food into baby bites and biting off the parts with skin and then feeding the baby the rest. It was probably kind of gross. I don't have a lot of the "don't put that in your mouth" gross outs that others do though, so it didn't occur to me until it was far too late to stop.
It was a very big day for a teething baby.
