Between my fervor for cleaning, the frillion stroller-errands walk we took with the dog, and the visiting, our schedule got a little messed up. This is the pattern my husband identifies to the baby occasionally -- she sleeps really well for a couple of nights, I get rested and then the baby is dragged into all kinds of activity and gets overtired and we are up all night.
I'm pretty sure the garlic and glass of wine I had for dinner and the lentils she had at three in the afternoon did not help things.
She's as cute as can be, much pleasanter than I ever imagined a baby companion would be, and just a delight to watch discover the world and grow.
She likes: finger foods, hugs, boobs, rolling around on the floor, artwork featuring faces, swimming, tree leaves, fabric (texture, pattern, folds, detailing on clothing), the cat, having conversations, and just about everything else in life.
She dislikes: being set down, about half her diaper changes, and when naps don't happen on time.
She has zero teeth at last check. She is rolling at will and can sit indefinitely if you help her into position, and can push herself around on the floor a little bit. She's trying her best to learn to sit up on her own and to get crawling. She's really pretty noisy these days.
We'll have official measurements after her well visit tomorrow.
We are seriously having so much fun every day that it's kind of hard to believe.
