This is great news because it means my life might improve soon. Not that things are so bad around here for an adult who isn't teething, but hanging out with a cranky baby all day everyday isn't as fun as hanging out with a pleasant baby is.
I feel like I spend an inordinate amount of time sweeping and mopping my floors. I also feel like my baby looks worse than the bottom of my dust mop within two minutes of my setting her on the ground.
Today, I put pants on the child and then only cuffed the right leg. As she slides herself across the floor from the pile of magazines whose spines she was just sampling (one bite each. I was fascinated. What was she looking for? She bit the same corner of each. How were they different? Was there a chance she would've settled on one? Why that corner? Why stop before you've tasted the whole pile? Et cetera. It's a wonder I didn't start picking them up to bite for myself after she unceremoniously dropped each.)
Anyway, she was in hot pursuit of a curtain to pull down, and I can see how getting her best traction from her right foot is causing her not to just use it like some kind of rudder/bumper.
