This morning, she knocked the scale onto the floor. We finally put the iPad into a case yesterday, so she needed a new expensive electronic to drop on the bathroom floor. (She's two. Her intentions and understanding of consequences are not always exactly clear...)
So, now I know it was tempered glass and my bathroom floor is super clean. Also, I just walked through the "totally worth it for a bandaid" thought process.
"Sorry. It's broken?"
"It's broken."
"I'll help clean it!"
"Thanks, but it's broken glass. You could get hurt. Just stay there *please*."
"I could get an owie? Go to the doctor? Get a big cast?"
"No you wouldn't go to the doctor. But it would hurt."
"Maybe a little cast?"
"No casts. You would be cut."
"A cut? Get a bandaid?"
"Please stay there. I'll clean it."
"I can help! I help and then I get a cut and a bandaid!"
"Thanks, but I'll do it."
